Welcome to The Hollyleaf Apothecary, my name is Holly and I am the owner and founder of THA. I am a wife and fur mum to three amazing dogs, Charlie, Pippa and Rosie!
The Hollyleaf Apothecary was born at the beginning of 2026 from a simple gift and a spark of inspiration. After receiving a candle-making kit from my mother-in-law, I began exploring the art of candle making as a way to express my creativity and bring a little more magic into my everyday life.
As a practising witch since early 2024, I had already found a deep connection with nature, ritual and the beauty of creating my own magical tools. Making my own candles quickly became more than just a hobby, it became a way to pour intention, imagination and a piece of myself into every creation.
What started as a small creative project soon grew into something much bigger. I discovered that wax could become a canvas; a place where I could create little works of art inspired by ancient folklore, woodland mysteries, fae realms and the fantasy worlds that have always captured my imagination.
Every candle and wax offering is lovingly handcrafted with the intention of bringing a moment of enchantment into your home. Whether it’s the glow of a candle during a quiet evening, a scent that transports you to an enchanted forest, or a ritual moment just for yourself, each creation is made to encourage connection, comfort and wonder.
At the heart of The Hollyleaf Apothecary is a message of self-love and self-care. In a world that constantly asks us to rush, achieve and give everything we have, it is easy to forget the importance of slowing down and taking time for ourselves. We believe that creating small moments of peace, intention and magic is not a luxury, it is something we all deserve and I think a lot of us (especially myself) forget this.
